Richard serves as Bluewater’s Director of Talent Management. With over 25 years of experience in Human Resources-related leadership roles, Richard has amassed a wealth of knowledge in a variety of Human Resources and talent management disciplines. In addition to leading Bluewater’s selection engagements, Richard leverages his experience to help Bluewater clients more effectively place and develop their team members. As an International Coaching Federation certified ACC Executive Coach, Richard also helps business leaders and rising business leaders realize their fullest potential. Like all Bluewater consultants, Richard is certified in the assessment tools we regularly use to “balance the head with the heart” when it comes to helping our clients select the best candidate for a given position.

Richard’s work at Bluewater focuses on two core areas – Providing Executive Coaching services and managing client search engagements to ensure the high-quality standards of Bluewater are met. Richard works closely with clients at the outset of each search to better define the key accountabilities and attributes required of the incoming employee to optimize both job fit and job performance.

Richard is a native of Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Finance. He resides in Eldersburg with his wife, Eileen, and has three outstanding adult children. Outside of the office, Richard is actively engaged in sports, including distance running and soccer. He also serves on the Board of Directors for LifeBridge Health at Carroll Hospital and is a Life Member for The Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad. Fun fact: Richard is an accomplished beekeeper and makes some of the best honey on the East Coast.
